What Do I Love About Teaching?

Each new school year, I get to teach new sets of students with varying characters, experiences, and ideas. As their teacher, I learn from each of my students.  They make me laugh, think, and reflect on my personal teaching style.  Watching the lightbulb get bright when new ideas are shared, leading the way toward change, growth, and new mindsets.

What are my Professional Goals?

This year I will focus on my abilities to monitor and adjust instruction through targeted questioning techniques at varied levels of cognition, the use of wait time, and academic feedback to students.
