Career and Technology Education

Mr. Scalice
Students within the Introduction to College/Career Research and Development Course are hard at work and moving beyond the self-awareness portion of the course. This quarter, they will be immersing themselves within curriculum that is focused on entrepreneurship, career planning, job searching, and beginning a new career. They will be given an opportunity to explore various career pathways beyond high school. The Advanced College/Career Research and Development students are stepping things up a bit as well, as they begin to explore interviewing skills, speech, financial management, and credit. They will be looking at some real-world components to ensure they are for the college and/or career world.

Ms. Hilaire
The Intro CCRD class will focus on career exploration and planning. Students will have the opportunity to explore the Maryland and National Career Clusters and pathways. This unit will lead students towards college and career readiness.
