Class Updates
Fourth quarter already?!? What wonderful things will math students be working on at the end of the school year? Here are a couple of examples- feel free to contact your child’s math teacher with any questions about the math curriculum.
Middle School
Math 6: Students are being introduced to the idea of negative numbers, and how they show up in real-world situations. We would have $50 than to owe someone $50!
Math 8: Repeated multiplication can be shown using exponents. 8th graders are learning how to use the Laws of Exponents to simplify expressions involving exponents.
High School
11th Graders, you are getting close to graduating high school! Please contact teachers to find out about lessons to promote college and career readiness!
